Celebrate The Bible Africa
Technology supporting a continental Bible distribution campaign.

The challenge
A campaign of continental scale requires more than a landing page. It requires digital infrastructure capable of connecting people, organizations, donations, registrations, resources, and operational information in one experience. Giving has to work for an individual sending a single gift and for a church, corporate donor, or foundation giving at a different scale entirely — across currencies, from anywhere. Every one of those gifts then has to be recorded, verified, and reportable, because a campaign asking for public trust has to be able to account for what it received.
The solution
Moonpie engineered a unified digital platform for the campaign. Supporters give through a tiered donation flow priced against the campaign's own unit economics, with multi-currency support and payments processed through Stripe, Paystack and Flutterwave. Stripe and Flutterwave outcomes are confirmed server-side through provider webhooks rather than trusted from the browser, so a donation is only recorded once the provider has actually verified it. Around that core sit dedicated giving pathways for churches, corporate donors and legacy gifts; multi-step registration for the campaign's ministry networks; a downloadable Bible resource library; a public transparency and governance centre that reports funding progress against the campaign's stated goal; and an administrative portal where the team manages campaigns, donations, events, inventory, volunteers and administrator access. Accounts, magic-link sign-in and password recovery are built on server-issued JWTs, with request rate limiting in front of the public endpoints.
Platform
What the platform does.
- 01Fundraising
- A tiered donation experience priced against the campaign's own unit cost per Bible, with multi-currency selection so supporters can give in the currency they hold.
- 02Campaign Progress
- A public transparency and governance centre reporting funding progress, allocation breakdowns, governance information and published reports against the campaign's stated goal.
- 03Network Registration
- Multi-step registration flows for the campaign's ministry networks, alongside volunteer, partner and chapter sign-up paths organised by country.
- 04Bible Resources
- A filterable study centre distributing reading plans, discipleship guides and pastoral materials as downloadable resources.
- 05Payment Integration
- Stripe, Paystack and Flutterwave checkout, with Stripe and Flutterwave outcomes verified server-side against the provider — a donation is recorded on confirmed provider state rather than on what the browser reports.
- 06Administration
- An authenticated admin portal covering campaigns, donations, events, Bible inventory, volunteers and administrator accounts, with reporting views over campaign data.
